Ocean Girl

Hey guys, it's Zarah. Hope all is going well, cheers to making it through the week. I've been waiting all week for this weekend for numerous reasons. For one, school sucks. Secondly, I'm doing something way out of my comfort zone boundaries, surfing, which you probably guessed due to the picture.
Anyways, ever since I was little, I've loved the ocean. I live in Oregon so the beaches were never warm, nor was there palm trees and even a tropical hint. It was straight up cold, windy, and honestly beautiful. The ocean I've grown up with is the one that makes you dig your under the sand looking for warmth. The ocean that sends chills down your back, and you can't decide whether or not its from the excitement or the hypothermia creeping upon you. For a while over the summer, I lived on property over by Neskowin, so we spent most of our time exploring the Oregon Coast and its nicknack stores. Which leads me down the path to always want to surf, seeing the surf shops and the smiling surfers sitting on the tailgates of their trucks parked in the sand. I've always wanted to go farther in the ocean than just the knee deep water, so here I am right now with around five surf tabs open, and full of excitement. Just one more day and I will know what its like to be a part of the ocean.
