Hey guys, it's Zarah, as always I hope you all are doing well and that your weekend was well spent and that your Monday wasn't too bad. I'm currently sitting in the San Jose airport waiting for my delayed plane back to Portland. I spent the whole weekend in the Northern California bay area for a college soccer showcase, which was really fun. My Friday was spent mostly traveling either by plane or car, but other than that I visited colleges with my team and practiced at cute little park.  The plane ride was really pretty, it wasn't cloudy what so ever so the landscape was very visible, the green rolling hills as well as the blue water of the bay. We then visited UCSC (University of California, Santa Cruz) which had a super pretty campus and the soccer coach seemed really professional, it had many buildings revolving around fitness, but we never got a tour of the academic parts of the campus.

The next day was spent playing soccer games, which we lost but it was fun. There was a ton of pretty places that I got pictures of like the field and the hills. We then went swimming and went out to eat at a pasta restaurant.

Sunday was spent playing games as well as taking pictures. It was a pretty good day, we got breakfast from Jamba Juice and this cute little bagel place called Noah's. We didn't end up winning any games but it was a lot of fun.

Today was spent in Santa Cruz at the boardwalk which was super pretty as well. At this point, I really want to move somewhere sunny like this rather than all cloudy and cold like Portland. My friends and I ate at this small hole in the wall place and I got a bowl of clam chowder which was really good. We then  took an hour and a half car ride to the airport and here I am now.
